1 – Eastfield Farm, Doncaster: This soft fruit farm near Doncaster offers a pumpkin patch and a tearoom serving hot and cold drinks as well as cakes. Check their website for opening times.

2 – Homeland Farm, Driffield: This farm has a huge array of squashes and pumpkins on offer, with opening hours from dusk till dawn. Pick your own events are weather dependent so check the website for the latest updates.

3 – Thornton Hall Farm, Skipton: From the 12th October to the end of the month, Thornton Hall Farm in Skipton is offering pumpkin picking and carving sessions for kids big and small. Find out more here

4 – Humble Bee Farm, Scarborough: From 26th – 31st October, Humble Bee Farm is open for pumpkin picking and carving. They’ll also have a Halloween Spooky Trail for kids to enjoy, check out the website for details.

5 – Cannon Hall Farm, Barnsley: THE PUMPKIN patch is returning to Cannon Hall Farm – with almost 10,000 pumpkins available for visitors to pick – and expert carvers will shape out those toothy grins for you. 6 – Minskip Farm, York:

It’s that spook-tacular time of year, and we’re gourd-geous-ly excited to announce our pumpkin picking pop-up event on the farm! 7 –Lodge Farm, York: Alongside thousands of pumpkins to choose from, there’s a children’s play area and refreshments for all to enjoy at this farm just outside of York. More details on the York Pumpkins facebook page here

8 –Horsforth Pick Your Own, Horsforth: This is a family-run business which offers pick your own pumpkins to adults and kids alike. For families – or any Halloween enthusiasts – carving sessions are also possible with kits that can be purchased on-site. Kids might also enjoy the face painting and other Halloween-related activities which will run throughout the season.

9 – Church Farm, Thirsk: Here families will find Spilman’s Farming Pumpkin Patch, with over 100,000 pumpkins it is one of the biggest pumpkin patches in Yorkshire. Book your visit here

10 – Balloon Tree Farm, York: There is no pre-booking required – just come to site during the PYO months and follow the “Pick Your Own” and “The Berry Barn” signs to the available pumpkins. Wheelbarrows are available from the “Wheelbarrow Park” at the entrance to our PYO fields. These are great for moving pumpkins but also tired children!
